USJ pretty much declared eruri as canon and here’s why
Universal studios japan currently holds a Shingeki no Kyojin exhibition featuring wax statues of Levi and Erwin.
My favorite thing about this is that this is actually inspired by a canon event, which is the evening before the SC went on the expedition to retake wall Maria.
The fax figures are wearing the same clothes as Levi and Erwin in that episode. (I’ve got these pictures from a post by @manletwitheyebrow)
I’ve read many tweets about how the room the wax sculptures are in resembles the room that was introduced to us as Erwin’s in the manga and the anime.
Now here’s the thing. Visitors claimed, that they were introduced to that Levi and Erwin scene with “Welcome to Levi’s and Erwin’s room”
One of the editors ( I think the one who said he cried when Isayama planned on killing Sasha off way sooner in the story than he actually did ) tweeted on 5/20, that hes involved in the exhibition. So USJ worked with the information of someone, who works hand in hand with Isayama.
The staff also explained to the visitors, that
“Levi doesn’t allow others except for Erwin to touch his teacups"
